5KG STRONTIUM CARBONATE
A source of strontium oxide for stoneware and porcelain glazes, most often used as an additional flux to promote interaction and greater fusion. Strontia behaves a lot like calcia but sees limited use because of its expense. It is also similar to baria and is often substituted for it. To replace 100 g barium carbonate (very toxic by ingestion), use 75 g strontium carbonate.
