PURPLE HAZE GLOSS GLAZE
A delicate purple cone 6 gloss glaze, more intense where applied heavily or where pooled, breaking to transparent at rims or high points. The colour will weaken if fired beyond cone 6 or if soaked at peak temperature.
For the cleanest, brightest colours, use on white stoneware or porcelain. Not recommended for use on 540i black stoneware. The colour will weaken if fired beyond cone 6 or if soaked at peak temperature.
500 mL, 1 L, and 5 L sizes are slow-drying brushing glazes. The pail size (12L) is made to order (typically within one week) and prepared as a fast-dry dipping glaze unless brushing is specified.
